Terms of Service
Effective: 2026-04-25
Welcome. These terms describe what you can expect from PrintMySpot.com and what we ask of you in return. We’ve tried to keep them readable. If something is unclear, email us at contact@printmyspot.com and we’ll explain.
1. Who we are
PrintMySpot is the assumed business name of Jonathan Munson, registered in North Carolina, USA. For correspondence, please email contact@printmyspot.com. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us”, and “PrintMySpot” refer to that business. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. What you’re ordering
Every product on PrintMySpot is custom and made-to-order. We don’t stock inventory; each item is printed for you after you place the order. Because of this:
- Products have no resale value once produced — they’re keyed to a specific design you chose.
- Final printed colors and crop may vary slightly from the on-screen preview. We aim for a faithful reproduction but cannot guarantee pixel-perfect equivalence.
- By placing an order, you warrant that you have the right to use any text, place names, or other content you upload or include in your design.
3. Acceptable use
PrintMySpot is a tool for celebrating places that matter to you. We can’t print everything, though. You agree not to use the site to create or order products that:
- Infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- Reproduce copyrighted maps or proprietary cartography we don’t have a license to use;
- Contain hate symbols, threats, sexually explicit material involving minors, or content that promotes violence against a person or group;
- Are intended to harass, defraud, or impersonate another person or business.
We may refuse, cancel, or refund any order that we believe falls into one of those categories. If we cancel an order before it’s produced, we’ll refund what you paid.
4. Your design, our license
You keep ownership of the designs you create. We don’t claim rights to your map or your text. But we do need a small license from you to make the site work:
- You grant PrintMySpot a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and print your design for the purpose of fulfilling your orders.
- We may display a low-resolution preview of your design in our public community gallery on the homepage. You can opt your design out of the gallery at any time using the public-preview filter on your design.
5. Pricing, payment, shipping
Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Shipping costs and delivery estimates are presented before you place the order. Sales tax is added where required by law.
6. Refunds and returns
Custom-print products are not eligible for return for change of mind. They are eligible for refund or replacement when they arrive damaged, have a manufacturing defect, or differ significantly from the preview you approved. See our Refund Policy for the full details and process.
7. Accounts
Some features (saved designs, order history) require an account. You must keep your login email accurate and you’re responsible for activity under your account. You can request deletion of your account and design data at any time by emailing contact@printmyspot.com.
8. Disclaimers
PrintMySpot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to PrintMySpot, the site, or a product you ordered is capped at the amount you paid for the specific order at issue. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. If we make a material change, we’ll do our best to notify customers with active orders or accounts. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
